What is the Las Vegas Bike Co-op?

We're a group of individuals who are in the process of opening a collectively owned and operated bicycle repair shop. We are applying for non-profit 501(c) status, and currently accepting donations of any kind. What we do is take donations of broken bicycles, and repair them to give to charity, or sell at a reasonable price to fund the expenses of the co-op. There is always a need for a bicycle somewhere, from recreation to fitness to cheap and reliable transportation. We're here to keep the bicycles out of the landfill and give to those who need transportation they can afford. Also, we educate the community on bike repair, to make a safe, ride-able bicycle available to all. Together we run a bike co-op and you're invited to help, to make Las Vegas a cleaner and cheaper place to get around in.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make bicycles and repair available to all walks of people by providing affordable bike maintainance services and education, low cost bikes, and recycle bikes that the community could use instead of them ending up in a landfill, for a cheaper and cleaner Las Vegas. We do not fix your bike, we help you fix your bike by providing tools and knowledge in a comfortable atmosphere.

Donations

We take broken bikes and parts, but we are not limited to bikes or money, it's a co-operative. We can take donations of time, graphic design services, t-shirt silk-screening, event planning, real estate etc., be creative! Please feel free to contact us and see how you can help!
